Our History

In 1959 the Gibbons-Neff family moved their whole herd of 250 Black Angus cattle from Devon, PA down to a 400 acre farm on the Upper Eastern Shore of Maryland .

Since then we have grown from just beef cattle and grain to an even larger full service family owned and operated wholesale nursery which was started in the mid 1980’s. We provide high quality B&B and P&P Trees, container shrubs, perennials and grasses.

Please come visit us at Clovelly Nurseries, located right on the banks of the beautiful Chester River. We would be proud to give you a personal tour of the farm and our vineyard which was started in 2008.
